We’re excited to announce our annual 3-day festival fundraiser in the heart of Catford, this year, supporting MIND charity and featuring a weekend of activities centred around art, music, and mindfulness.
After having fundraised thousands of pounds over the years for different charities, including Amnesty International, Women for Women International and Care for Calais, this year we’ve decided to focus our passion into mental health, choosing Mind as our charity. We want to give mental health the visibility it deserves and we are creating a weekender full of workshops, talks and wellbeing activities to support a healthy body and mind, together with a lot of good musicians, including DJs and Bands, to create amazing dance floors all over our venue! – Luu Sierra, Founder of Catfest
From workshops to women empowerment, DJ’s to family dance-parties, handmade crafts to craft beer, it’s all taking place across three days within our much-loved Catford pub.
Join Almond Blossom Yoga for mindfulness infused vinyasa flow class. Exercise your mind and make a masterpiece to take home at a Sand Art Creations workshop. Discover aroma balance and the basics of essential oils at Intro to Aromatherapy with Neals Yard. Join the Menstural Magic Circle learning about the menstrual cycle, encourage a greater reverence and respect for cyclical life and the Divine Feminine and introduce some simple ceremonies and rituals you can perform at New Moon to manifest more abundance into your life. Finally, have fun, get fit and creative learning a Caribbean Cultural dance accompanied by a Soca/Zouk warm-up. With Deanna & Marta of Nzinga Dance.
Alongside the above you’ll find:
A line-up of DJs and live bands everyday
Catfest Craft Market (Sat)
Vinyl Fair (Sun)
‘Tanation’ film screening (Sun)
and a raffle taking place across the weekend.
